Àbèbí is the child begged to be birthed. She is calm and determined. She survives, through everything as a child of promise. Àbèbí represents our own aspirations as a people striving and resilient in a world full of dangers. She reflects the challenges of the average girl-child in Africa, suffering through a number of misunderstandings and biases, who is unflinching in her resolve to be a better version of herself – unwilling to sit on the fence.
