This piece was painted to show the love and bond between a mother and daughter. every mother wants her child to make better decisions than she did. With the daughter as the main subject of the painting, she is looking into a brighter future with the help of her mother. The mother stays behind her whispers words of advice, encouragement and love so that her child grows up to be a better version of herself. The bond between them is reflected with how close they are and the roses are a symbol of their unbreakable love for one another.
