Description

This piece of work describes the shame and insecurities a lot of women have to deal with because of their gender.

“At what point can I just be myself? When my body started changing, I was asked to change with it. What’s the point of a brassiere? Surely not my comfort. And when I was called fat, I starved myself so that I would be wanted. At what point can I just be myself?”
