Benjamin‘s Biography

Benjamin Omoike, hails from Edo State, Nigeria. He was awarded his OND and HND respectively from the Department of Painting at Auchi Polytechnic, Nigeria – an adventure that began due to his love for colors. He uses art as a medium to explore and express the living conditions and mood of the urban community through his imagination.

Benjamin Omoike’s paintings are characterized by bold colours, aided by the fusion of ropes, nylon, forms, motifs and acrylic to give a dramatic finish. He keeps to the bright style of abstract expressionism, an art that aims to be expressive or emotional in its effect.

Benjamin Omoike’s subjects are hard to read, which somewhat sets them apart from his landscapes and other oil paintings. He has participated in some online Auctions and also LIMC(Life In My City) exhibitions in 2016 and 2017.
