Priscilla Asonibare, Founder & CEO of Creatives Auction, receiving the grand prize
Creatives Auction has just been named “The Most Creative Business in Nigeria” by the Global Entrepreneurship Network after emerging as the winner at the recently concluded finals of the Creative Business Cup Nigeria Competition. This win not only grants us access to much-needed business support and seed funding but also presents an opportunity to represent the country at the Global finals set to hold in Denmark mid-next year.
The competition, now in its 4th year, received over 6000 applications this year and implemented a rigorous process to eliminate applicants through a series of pitch sessions till 10 finalists were selected to compete for the grand prize.
She emphasised the fact that Creatives Auction is not only trying to impact the lives of current Creatives but also touch the lives of the next generation of African Creatives. They need to know that they can pursue careers in the Creative sector and thrive just like their counterparts in other industries, and this can only happen when they are able to sell their work more easily to people across the world. And this is where Creatives Auction plays a crucial role.
We are excited to leverage the resources we have been granted through winning this competition to unlock our next stage of growth. We will continue to do our best to help Creatives from Africa sell their work more easily with the hope of impacting many of their lives significantly in the coming year.
We also look forward to meeting with other winners from around the world at the summit in Denmark as we compete to win the Global Creative Business Cup!
