Description
This piece is inspired by the fascinating ability of a waitress at a bar or hotel to seamlessly balance glasses and bottles on head with equilibrium even though the ones on her hand are seemingly in disequilibrium.
I wanted to compare the balanced equilibrium on her head to our mind as human beings and the unbalanced pieces in her hand to our physical appearances.
Our mind is often times clear on what we want in life and what our heart desires are, but sometimes our outward appearance does not project that. And that’s okay. If we take gentle steps and give ourselves grace, we will get there!
