Description
I created a painting featuring my niece, Matilda, titled “Innocence of Childhood.”
Matilda, at the age of 7, embodies the innocence typical of childhood. This innocence is characterized by a belief in the inherent fairness of life, an expectation of honesty from others, and a desire for a world free from pain and sadness.
Inspired by Matilda’s outlook and the universal experience of children under parental care, I depicted her innocent perspective where she perceives the world as inherently good and just.
The title, “Innocence of Childhood,” reflects this theme, acknowledging the purity of a child’s perception and the inevitable disillusionment that comes with growing up.
