Description
Many times in my life, I have always come to this spot where I have this deliberate feeling – most especially the years I spent with my mother and seeing the way she reflects life on herself, on people, on children, and above all, on her environment – of entering my mother’s shoes. Not the physical footwear, but rather, the act of being in her position, doing all that she is doing at present and living through all the experiences.
I know she is a role model, source of love and affection, problem solver, forgiver, tutor, a friend and has a great sense of humor – and I want to be like that too. I want to feel her pain and go through her struggle. I know she is an ultimate for me at present but I want to feel what she felt.
Hustling is not an easy task in her space but if I be a seconder, things are going to be flexible to feed the family and provide for all.
Thank you, Mother, for your confidence, hard work and generosity! I hope to be like you someday, sitting in your golden chair, entering your shoes and walking in them for greatness.
